SPECIFIC SERIES SOLUTIONS
REFILLABLE HERMETICALLY SEALED OIL BOTTLES
Because standard bottles are not hermetically sealed, they always contain a percentage of air. The water molecules in the air bind with the oil and contaminate it. TEXA’s solution was to create special containers which prevent the oil from becoming contaminated by air and humidity. These have been patented. These special bottles can be re-used thanks to a special system which removes the air from the bottle.
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM FLUSHING
In order to guarantee safety and efficiency, it is important that each type of oil and refrigerant are not cross contaminated. TEXA have therefore developed a special automatic flushing function to clean the internal circuits of the service station.
AUTOMATIC BOTTLE IDENTIFICATION
With the introduction of new vehicles, particularly electric and hybrid vehicles, new oils have been introduced for these applications. The correct oil type must be used relating to the air conditioning system to be serviced (eg PAG or POE). It is potentially damaging and dangerous to inject non-compatible oils into the system, so the operator must take care to avoid mistakes. TEXA has developed an automatic oil bottle recognition system which, by comparing the data contained in the vehicles database, signals if the incorrect bottle is in use.
TILT SENSOR SYSTEM FOR ACCURATE READINGS
The scales used for refrigerant measurement can be inaccurate when used on uneven surfaces. TEXA’s patented TILT SENSOR SYSTEM analyses the scales horizontal positioning and alerts the operator to the fact that the readings may be inaccurate.
FAN PROTECTION SYSTEM
The new R1234yf refrigerant has been classified as being ‘highly flammable’ and this must be acknowledged by the operator. The KONFORT 700 series air conditioning service stations adopts a high efficiency redundant fan system to eliminate any possible refrigerant build up within the unit.
AUTOMATIC LEAK DETECTION MANAGEMENT
The KONFORT 700 series units automatically carry out a dual leak detection check. All safety related operations take place automatically in order to eliminate errors.
The KONFORT 707R is TEXA’s latest recharge and maintenance station for vehicle air conditioning systems. It is designed and made for maximum simplicity and effectiveness in servicing systems filled with the new R1234yf refrigerant, mandatory within the European Community since January 2011 and now increasingly common.
Though basic and easy to use, the KONFORT 707R recharge station boasts extremely advanced design solutions. It is fully automatic in functioning and guarantees excellent efficiency and safety.
This innovative recharge station stands out from the competition for its exceptional characteristics.
It incorporates a Dehydrator Filter that lets you perform up to 300 recharges, a scales locking system to avoid loss of calibration between operations, and an intuitive alphanumeric keyboard that is far easier to use than the classic cursor type interface.
Other important features of the KONFORT 707R are its convenient height and its 4 castoring wheels, designed to let you perform all tasks with ease. The KONFORT 707R also records the services it performs and can provide details of all past maintenance operations.
TEXA 720R AIR CON MACHINE
THE BASIC SERVICE STATION FOR BOTH REFRIGERANT TYPES
The KONFORT 720R is designed to service all car, commercial, HGV and tractor air conditioning systems. Despite its highly competitive purchase price, the 720R delivers all the advanced technology and stylish design of the KONFORT range.
The KONFORT 720R is equipped with automatic refrigerant recovery and recycling and oil drainage functions. Quantities of oil and UV tracer are controlled by an automatic valve system. The operator therefore only has a few simple tasks to carry out
The 720R can be purchased configured either for the old R134a refrigerant or the new R1234yf refrigerant. A retrofit kit is also available to change refrigerant type.
TEXA 760R AIR CON MACHINE FOR R1234YF
TEXA 760R AIR CON MACHINE – 2 GAS READY
This model is equipped with a high visibility colour TFT display with a graphic interface for ease of use.
The service management procedure is fully automatic, so there is no requirement for manual taps.
The distinctive features are the hermetically sealed bottle system, automatic service management system, refrigerant measurement and scale locking system.
The TEXA 760R Air Con Machine can be purchased configured either for the old R134a refrigerant or the new R1234yf refrigerant. A retrofit kit is also available to change refrigerant type.
TEXA 780R BI-GAS AIR CON MACHINE FOR R134A AND R1234YF
TOP OF THE KONFORT RANGE
The TEXA 780R Bi-gas air con machine is the top of the range model, and unrivalled by any other air conditioning service station on the market. Though it is no larger than the other stations in the series, the 780R incorporates two separate tanks and two separate circuits for recovery, recycling and servicing. It can therefore function with both refrigerants (the old R134a and the new R1234yf) simultaneously.
The 780R will provide a solution for workshops’ who are required to deal with new vehicles fitted with the new R1234yf refrigerant, but also maintain vehicles which will continue using the traditional R134a refrigerant.
SAFETY AND PRECISION FOR THE OPERATOR
The entire service procedure is completely automatic thanks to hermetically sealed oil tanks, a scale locking and release system and automatic refrigerant weighing.
The 780R diagnosis and service station even implements a special procedure to clean all its internal circuits during refrigerant servicing. The machine carries out the flushing procedure automatically in order to clean out the system when changing from one refrigerant to the other. This procedure takes approx. one minute.
